Summertime
A dream passes by the windows)
the dream asks sleep: "where should we rest tonight?"
where the house is warm, where the child is small, there we will go,
and rock the child to sleep there we will sleep,
and will rock the child: sleep, sleep, my dear, sleep, sleep, my dove.
Your daddy's rich and your mamma's good lookin' so hush little baby, don't you cry.
One of these mornings, you're going to rise up singing then you'll spread your wings and you'll take to the sky.
But till that morning there's a'nothing can harm you with daddy and mamma standing by.
Bella y sin embargo, cuando se escucha Your daddy's rich and your mamma's good lookin'so hush little baby, don't you cry (Tu papi es rico y tu mami es bella así que no llores, bebé) no sé por qué, algo deja de ser tan bello como aparentaba.
